Somewhat dissapointing lunchtime HAUL

Myself? I snagged a LOTR Shelob, 50% off Raven Spawn 2, Yankees Richard Petty (I thought I'll never see this bitch at all), the latest Play magazine, and Hellraiser 3 Frank the fucking skinless sausage. All in all, Wendy's Bacon Melt tasted better. :>

Oh, yeah...KBToys do have the uncensored Belit and Svadun chicks. Suncoast, Gamestop, and EB have the covered ones.

My TRU is absolutely shitty when it comes to getting in new stuff. I don't bother with Spencers unless I'm desperate, as they're hit or miss and I can't stand the way the store is always so friggin crowded. That, and my local spencers smells like urine and BO.

I went to Gamestop and got the censored Svadun for Bonedust today after I got off work. The clerk there who always remembers me and is really nice had the guy who was ringing me up give me the employee discount. I was quite pleasantly surprised. They know me at that Gamestop because of my toy habit..I never buy games from that one.

Well, I went out at lunch in hopes of snagging Infernal Parade, a couple Conan figs, the Star Wars DVD's and anything else interesting I could find.

Since I heard that KB has a better chance of having the uncensored versions of figures I headed to the nearest mall, which, the last time I was there at least, HAD a KB. No such luck anymore. KB's gone, the Game Stop that was there's no longer and the Spencer that's still there was temporarily closed while they put up all their Halloween stuff, so I left there completely empty handed. Went over to the TRU near that mall and they had NOTHING... well, they had football, baseball, Nascar and Series 25, so that's something, but NOT something that peaked my interest.

So the end result of the first lunch run I've been on in a LONG time was was nothing more then the Star Wars DVD's and

My daughter's been the beneficiary of almost all of my most recent toy runs.

I told her that she's lucky that her daddy is a toy collector and has now made it his mission to make sure that she has EVERY Care Bear beanie that is made..... after today she's only missing 2. However, since she's only 3 the speach didn't have any impact whatsoever......
